SUBANG AIRPORT
Subang is in Malaysia. Before, I used to think people in Malaysia live on trees. But now I know it is quite modern country. Miklov, he watch the news a lot back in Murmansk, so he is the one telling me all he knows.

On the map it says Subang. So must be the old airport in Malaysia. It used to be very busy hub for airplanes. Back then, it had longest runway (3.75km, 45m wide and constructed of asphalt) in South East Asia.

Could this have something to do with why we are landing there? Do we really need plenty of space to unload when we land? Will there be security personnel waiting?

Located 22km from the capital city Kuala Lumpur, Subang Airport was renamed Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport. It used to be primary airport. Now, most planes, even cargo planes go to the new Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Everyone who works with planes knows about KLIA. It is very big, famous airport. Plenty glass, like JFK Airport in New York.

So why Subang? Could it be because Subang Airport serves general aviation, some turboprop and chartered flights, even helicopter rides? C-130 Hercules is turboprop aircraft. Is there significance?

I can’t wait to land. I am tired of asking so many questions and not getting any answers…
